This project will take you approximately 4-6 hours to make from start to finish. Tried and tested, this bag making tutorial is designed for total beginners to make from home using a standard sewing machine.💗 

Before you get started, I recommend that you read through what is included in the kit, as well as any additional items I recommend below. You may already have most things at home. 😉

What's included in your kit:

• Step-by-step video tutorial
• Leather, pre-cut & skived
• 2 x D-rings
• 1 x Swivel clip
• 3 x Screw studs
• Zips, zip ends and zip pulls
• Double-sided tape.
• Basic calico fabric lining
  (but we encourage you to use your own lining, see more about this below).

What you'll need:

• Domestic flatbed sewing machine & polyester thread.
• Scissors and/or a craft knife.
• A pen.
• Leather hole puncher.
• Water-based or solvent-based leather glue.
• A pair of pliers.
• Clips or sewing pins.

Optional add-ons:

• A jar to decant the glue.
• A hammer.
• A heavy roller.
• Cutting mat.

A NOTE ON LINING: I've included a very basic calico lining in the kit but we encourage you to choose your own lining. It's a great way to jazz up the inside of your bag and make it truly unique to you. ⭐️

I recommend a medium heavy(ish) cotton aprox 50 x 50cm. That being said, I've also lined this bag with super thin cottons and that's worked great too. 😃

Ok, let's do this! I recommend you watch through this whole video at least once BEFORE you start making. This is so that you get familiar with all the steps to avoid any mistakes.
